3-Steps Easy Pork Sinigang Recipe with Aji-Sinigang Cube

How do I love my Sinigang? Let me count the ways. Sinigang is a soup based dish in sour broth which is a favorite Pinoy comfort food. Various types of meats from fish, beef, shrimps or pork is slowly braised in sour broth.

Traditional cooks usually use sour native fruits such as fresh tamarind, kamias, guava or even santol to achieve that tangy and yet delightful sourness that a sinigang dish requires. The process in producing such broth is tedious but there is a clever way in doing this by using a sinigang broth mix or cube.

Most people using ‘popular’ sinigang mixes available in the market would need to add other savory and meaty seasonings such pork/beef cube and all-in-one seasonings to achieve the ideal rich sinigang taste, which is not just about sourness but savory taste as well.

Good thing that moms and designated cooks at home do not have to spend more buying other stuff just to make their sinigang dish tasty and savory. There is a cost-effective and delicious way to create perfect sinigang at home and it is through Ajinomoto Sinigang Cube.

The new Ajinomoto Sinigang Cube is all you’ll need to cook perfect Sinigang with the preferred blend of sour-savory (asim-linamnam) taste. It will provide the balanced rich flavor, savory deliciousness and appetizing sourness to any sinigang dish. Each cube is “ZoopSiksik™” because it is packed with the right level of natural tamarind sourness and savory taste from meaty extracts.

Transforming Lives: The Impact of SM Group's KSK Program on Filipino Farmers

Farming futures Jayson and Juanito proudly showcase a selection of produce at the SM City Clark’s Weekend Market. While modern agricultural techniques boost yields for some, there remains a number of Filipino farmers who struggle to keep pace. These experienced hands find themselves falling behind in a market demanding higher production, clinging to familiar yet often inefficient methods passed down through generations. One farmer from Pampanga, Jayson Garcia, sought to disrupt this prevailing narrative in his family. He knew that he had to chart a new course forward for his farm and innovate to remain competitive within the rapidly evolving landscape of modern agriculture. “Noon, mahirap ang magtanim,” he recalled their life before joining SM Foundation’s Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan. “Para bang tsambahan, basta pag itinanim mo ‘yan, hintayin mo na lang mamunga. Mas mahirap pa lalo kapag nagkaroon ng kalamidad,” he added.  SM Foundation’s training program focused on high-value crop cultiv
